1. How close to the real thing is it? Very close... The vapor tastes and feels like real cigarette smoke .

2. Is it safe? Tobacco smoke causes cancer, not nicotine. E-cigarettes deliver nicotine by inhaling a vaporized nicotine solution without having to worry about tar, carbon monoxide, etc.  Electronic cigarette vapor has about 20 ingredients (including nicotine) all of which are considered safe as long as the proper instructions are followed.

3. Can it help me quit smoking? Electronic cigarettes are NOT marketed as smoking cessation devices. They are meant to be used by smokers who are looking for an alternative that can be used anywhere. However, there are many reports of heavy smokers completely switching to e-cigarettes, so logic indicates that it can help you quit.  A number of these users have reported improved health benefits including improved senses of taste and smell.
(E-cigs do deliver less nicotine and absorption is slower. So instead of instant nicotine satisfaction it may take a minute or so longer.)

4. Is it approved by the FDA?  The FDA classifies electronic cigarettes as "nicotine delivery devices" and therefore does not regulate them.

5. Can it be used anywhere? Technically, yes. There is no burning tobacco so no second hand smoke is produced..  Some countries such as Canada have tried to ban the electronic cigarette, but most places in the U.S. do not

6.  Are electronic cigarettes safer than tobacco cigarettes? Tobacco cigarette smoke contains as many as 4,000 different ingredients, including over 43 known carcinogenic toxins.  Electronic cigarettes typically contain about 20 ingredients including water, propylene glycol (a food-safe additive), flavor and nicotine.  None of the chemicals in the electric cigarette are known to be dangerous.

7. Do electronic cigarettes contain anti-freeze? A common misconception is that electronic cigarettes contain ethylene glycol, the main ingredient in anti-freeze. Electronic cigarettes contain propylene glycol, which is a common food additive.

 8.  What flavors of electronic cigarette cartridges are available?  A wide variety, including,Tobacco, Menthol, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cherry, Coffee, Cuban Cigar, and this is just the beginning!  Tobacco flavoring drops have become available for sale recently, and can be used in conjunction with the electronic cigarette, expanding the flavors infinitely.

 9.  What is the difference between a two-part electronic cigarette and a three-part electronic cigarette?  A three-part unit consists of a battery, an atomizer and a flavor cartridge.  Two-part units are a battery and a cartridge that contains an atomizer(cartomizer).   .
